Abstract and Paper Submission Guide

EasyChair Instructions for Authors

The submission and review of papers for the ICTE 2017 will be managed through an online conference paper management system called “EasyChair” (www.easychair.org). This system gives you, the author, complete control  over  your  submission.  You  can  upload  your abstract  and  check  on  the review  status  of  your submission.

The submission process requires an abstract and proposal submission

This guide is intended to support authors during the submission process, it has two parts.

  1. Set up an account
  2. Abstract/paper submission

*If you already have an EasyChair account then use your User name and Password to log in. If you need details on how to submit your Paper/abstract go to Section 2 (Submitting your Paper/abstract)

 

Section 1: Set up an Account as an Author

 

First, go to the https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=icte20170. This link

will bring up a login page

for the ICTE 2017, select “create an account” to register an account.

 

Then fill in the textbox with the distorted words (Figure 2) that appear directly above it, and click on “Continue”.
  Fill in your name and email address and click on Continue.

 

 

  You will receive a confirmation email. Click on the link provided in the e-mail to continue your registration.
 

Complete your registration (in your browser) by providing all the required information and click on Create my account.
After you have successfully registered, log in to the conference submission system using your User name

and Password. The link to the submission system is available through the conference website or here:

https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=icte20170

 

Section 2: Submitting your Paper/abstract:

Please leave your name and affiliation out of the abstract (but keep 3 blank lines between title and text). The workshop will accept at most one single-authored work AND one joint-authored work.

 

1.  From  the  main  menu bar (on the top) choose New Submission.
2. Follow the instructions and fill in all the requested information.

*For filling in author

/authors information, you may speed up the process by clicking on “clink here to add yourself

*Each author marked as a corresponding author will receive email messages from the system about this submission. There must

be at least one corresponding author.

*One of the authors should be marked as a speaker. If you are not sure, choose your best

guess.

*Enter the title of your abstract.*Enter 5 keywords in

“Keywords (*)” field.

*Select the Topic category of your abstract: (1)General & Poster or (2)Tense Panel

*Upload your abstract (in PDF) format.

*Click submit, please do not click on New submissions again. Duplicated submissions will be removed.

Abstract requirement:  
* Please download the template for reference.
3. Now you will see basic information about your submission. You can get back to the page with your submission detailsanytime by clicking on Submission1 located in the top-left corner of the main menu bar.

4.Updating your submission:

-Click on Submission 1

-Then use the links on the right side to make changes
